I have used dermalogica ultracalming cleanser before purchasing special cleansing gel. I would say both cleansers are great but I prefer special cleansing gel. It is definitely a good cleanser for combination skin.

This gel has a gentle but thorough quality. I feel that it leaves some of the natural skin oils in place which is what I need as a mature lady. I only want my makeup to be removed and this product does the job well.

250ml/8.3oz: I previously used the soothing eye makeup remover but as it's no longer in production, tried this one. I love the soothing gel-like texture and there's no irritation at all. Loving that I have one product for eyes and face cleanser. You only need a small amount so while it seems a bit pricey, it will last a very long time.

250ml/8.3oz: This is an amazing cleanser. You only need a small amount and once lathered it foams up nicely and leaves your skin really clean. I have combination skin, so it's gentle to the dry areas and removes oil from my tzone. I use this after the pre cleanse. It's one cleanser that doesn't leave my skin feeling tight, itchy and stripped. The smell is pleasant and the bottle lasts for ever so you get your money worth.
